Frequently Asked Questions

We currently have various types of hardneck garlic including Pehoski Purple, Chesnok Red, German Extra Hardy, Siberian; and one soft neck garlic, Island Star. For 2024 we are planning to add Majestic, Persian Star, Siberian, Georgian Crystal, and Music.

All of our garlic is grown naturally.  We do not use any type of pesticides or herbicides on the farm.  If we use a fertilizer it is oganically based such as our own compost from our chickens.

This is our first year in operation so we will not be having farm visits this year, however we are looking forward to the day we can invite everyone out to our farm to meet you in person while you pick out your own garlic! Maybe you will also catch a glimpse of our visiting deer, turkeys, sandhill cranes, and/or wrens.

We have limited inventory as this is our first year in production, however we are working hard to get our premium, naturally grown garlic out to those who love garlic! We are located in the southeast region of Wisconsin (Salem, WI) and are planning internet sales for summer 2024. For 2023 we are planning to attend a few local farmer's markets in the area for summer and fall! Just as with the Speakeasys of the past, give us the password ("I got the garlic") and your email address so we can add you to our contact list! Then, we can let you know when and where we will be in 2023 and also provide you with updates regarding the farm and on our pre-orders/internet sales for August 2024!
